No “NMC-approved list” exists — recognition is criteria-based.
criteria-based (FMGL 2021) — confirmed per university, never a guarantee. To practise in India you must also clear the FMGE (or NExT once active) and complete a 12-month CRMI internship. Listed in WDOMS (F0004197, verified 2026-06: search.wdoms.org/home/SchoolDetail/F0004197). Tuition $6,500/yr confirmed on the official site (ug.edu.ge/en/tuition-and-fees, 2026). Choose only the 6-yr (72-mo), English-medium programme with same-institution internship; avoid 5-yr/transfer tracks. No NMC 'approved list' exists (FMGL 2021) — validity is criteria-based.
NEET-qualified (for admissions on/after May 2018 the NEET result itself is deemed the Eligibility Certificate — Gazette 01.03.2018, per the NBEMS FMGE bulletin); program must meet FMGL 2021 (54-mo, English, same-institution internship).
A listing in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) is a directory entry only — by itself it is not recognition, accreditation, or endorsement by the NMC or WDOMS. It is one of the FMGL-2021 criteria, not a guarantee.

Hostel & accommodation
The university does not currently operate its own dormitories. Its official How to Apply page states: 'University housing is under construction. Temporary housing support is available per request. We provide accommodation letters for visa applications.' Students therefore arrange private rented housing in Tbilisi, with the university's international office assisting on request; accommodation letters are issued for visa purposes. This matches the broader pattern in Georgia, where most universities rely on private rentals rather than campus hostels.

Graduate outcomes
Per WDOMS sponsor notes, students and graduates (graduation years 2016–current) are eligible to apply for ECFMG Certification — the gateway to the US USMLE pathway — and the programme currently meets the Intealth Recognized Accreditation Policy. The university's official news reports a medicine student passing USMLE Step 1 (January 2022). No published FMGE pass-rate data for this university was found from an official source; recognition of a foreign MBBS in India is criteria-based rather than list-based, so individual eligibility should be checked against current NMC rules.
